Before we arrive and after we leave
A clean that goes well starts the day before and carries on for a day after. This is the short version. Each service page has the detail.
The day before
Vacuum if you can. Clear small items off the floor, and tell us about any stains you already know about, and how old they are.
While we work
Keep children and pets in another room. Tell us about wool, silk or antique rugs before we start, not after.
Drying
Trade guides give most carpets half a day or less. Open a window if it is dry outside, and run a fan.
Back in use
Keep children and pets off until the carpet is fully dry. Couches and mattresses stay out of normal use until we say they are dry, because a dry-looking surface can hide a wet inside. Unsure? Ask us.
If it is still wet after a day
Trade guides call a carpet that is still wet after 24 hours a warning sign. Phone us that day and we will inspect the carpet, backing and underlay. Fans and windows aid drying but are no cure.
How it works
How does a request work?
From first message to dry carpet, there are four steps.
- Tell us what needs cleaning. Use the quote form, or phone 060 086 9889. Your area and the items to be cleaned are enough to start.
- We call you back. We ask about sizes, stains and stairs, then give you a price and offer a time.
- You agree the price. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
- We clean, and you get the drying advice. You get a plain list of what to avoid until it is dry.

Questions people ask about cleaning
How long does a carpet take to dry after cleaning?
Trade guides give 6 to 12 hours for carpet cleaned by hot water extraction. Heavy pile, damp weather and closed-up rooms stretch that towards a full day. If it is wet after 24 hours, ring us that day.
How much does carpet cleaning cost?
Published South African guides run from about R8.80 to R40 per square metre, and one Johannesburg operator lists R750 as its minimum job. Stairs, stains and furniture to move all change a quote. The cost guide gives each figure with its source.
Can you clean my couch and my mattress in the same visit?
Yes. List everything when you request, and the total is agreed before booking.
